For the last four years as some of you will know I have worked in various public houses this side of Chester. These include The Rake and Pikel under Maggie’s management, The Plough Inn Christleton under Chrissie’s, Paul & Trish’s, Peter & Chris's, Suzie's and until February Ralph & Phil’s managements. Since I started in the pub trade I've always been a fan of real ales and keeping a spotless cellar so in February this year with Amy I decided to start looking and raising the capital to buy our own establishment with which we could express our own ideas without the constraints of a managed pub.
